RAW agents are chosen after a difficult and demanding selection procedure that includes many rounds of screening, physical and psychological testing, and background investigations. After being chosen, spies go through extensive training programs in subjects including sabotage, survival techniques, and obtaining intelligence.
The Intelligence Bureau (IB) is India’s domestic intelligence organization, while RAW is the nation’s external intelligence agency. The IB, which answers to the Ministry of Home Affairs, is in charge of acquiring internal intelligence and overseeing counterterrorism operations within India.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), on the other hand, is the main domestic security and intelligence organization of the United States. The FBI is charged with looking into domestic federal crimes like terrorism, cybercrime, and organized crime for the Department of Justice.
RAW agents are professionals with extensive training and experience who work abroad to gather information and protect national security. India has IB as its domestic intelligence organization in addition to RAW, which serves as its external intelligence agency. The FBI’s counterpart does not exist in India.
