What Do You Call a Marvel Nerd?

What do you call a Marvel nerd?
As Chaz Kemp said, MCU fans could be called “”Marvelites””. Personally, I think it has a nice ring to it but it’s a very broad category. It would include all of Marvel and, as you know, the MCU is kind of different from the original comics. But it is going there. So, we’ll prolly stick to being called “”True Believers””.

You are not just any fan if you are a Marvel enthusiast. You’re a huge Marvel fan. Someone who is deeply passionate about everything Marvel, from the comic books to the movies and everything in between, is known as a “Marvel nerd.” They are the ones who can list the backgrounds and plotlines of each character and can distinguish between the comic book and the film versions.

However, where can Marvel fanatics go to indulge their passion? Yes, of course, comic book stores. Around 2,000 comic book stores are thought to exist alone in the United States. These shops carry comic books from DC, Image, and other independent publishers in addition to Marvel.

But is it possible to profit from a comic book shop? Yes, but it is not simple, is the answer. Online sellers like Amazon and eBay, as well as digital comics that are readily available through a smartphone or tablet, are competitors for comic book shops. But for individuals with a love of comics and the drive to work hard, running a comic book shop may be a rewarding endeavor.

The popularity of digital comics has not caused the comic book industry to decline. Actually, it is expanding. Sales of comic books in North America reached $1.09 billion in 2018, an increase from $1.015 billion in 2017. This expansion can be ascribed to the success of superhero films, which have drawn in new readers to the comic book genre.

So how much are comic books? The publisher, the series, and the issue count all affect a comic book’s pricing. New comic books often range in price from $2.99 to $5.99. Older and rarer comic books, however, can fetch hundreds or even thousands of dollars on the open market.

Finally, Marvel geeks are ardent admirers of everything Marvel, and comic book shops are where they go to indulge their enthusiasm. While running a comic book shop might be difficult, people who enjoy comics may find it to be a rewarding endeavor. Despite predictions to the contrary, the comic book industry is expanding, in part due to the success of superhero films. Therefore, there has never been a better time to start reading comic books, whether you are a Marvel nut or just a casual fan.
