On behalf of a business entity, a registered agent is a person or organization designated to receive legal documents, such as service of process and other necessary communications. You must submit a Statement of Change of Registered Agent/Registered Office to the Florida Department of State in order to modify your LLC’s registered agent in that state. You can submit this form by mail or online through the Florida Division of Corporations website.

You will then be asked to either create an account or log in if you already have one. You can print out a copy of the form from the Florida Division of Corporations website, fill it out by hand, and mail it in if you like.
