Comic book enthusiasts have been debating who would prevail in a confrontation between Aquaman and Thor for many years. Both characters are dangerous foes due to their extraordinary durability, strength, and special powers. But when it comes down to it, there are a few crucial elements that might decide how this titanic conflict plays out.

Let’s start by looking at their skills. Thor, the God of Thunder, uses his powerful hammer Mjolnir to command storms and lightning. He possesses the strength to lift more than 100 tons, and he has been known to defeat entire armies by himself. On the other side, Aquaman, the King of Atlantis, possesses superhuman strength, the capacity to converse with sea creatures, and the ability to swim at tremendous speeds. He also carries a mystical trident that has water-controlling and energy-blasting abilities.

Thor has an edge in terms of physical strength. He has repeatedly shown that he is capable of defeating opponents who are much bigger than himself. However, given the appropriate situation, Aquaman’s capacity for communication with marine life can give him the upper hand. Aquaman would have access to a vast army of sea animals if the battle were to take place in the water.

Their durability is another thing to take into account. While Aquaman’s Atlantean nature enables him to withstand tremendous pressure and swim to the bottom of the ocean, Thor’s Asgardian biology provides him superhuman endurance and injury resistance. Both characters would be able to withstand a substantial amount of damage, though it’s difficult to predict who would prevail in a contest of endurance.

So where does Wakanda Forever come from?

The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) catchphrase “Wakanda Forever” first appeared in the 2018 movie “Black Panther.” The citizens of Wakanda, a fictitious African nation that is home to the superhero Black Panther, give this respect. Since then, it has developed into a catchphrase that is frequently used to express support for the MCU by fans.

In light of this, why did Namor flood Wakanda?

As vengeance for an assault on his undersea nation, Namor, the Sub-Mariner, flooded Wakanda in the comics. Namor was a member of the Phoenix Five, a group of mutants who had been endowed with the power of the Phoenix Force, at the time the incident took place in the “Avengers vs. X-Men” crossover event. The Phoenix Five intended to remake the planet, and the Avengers tried to stop them, but Namor reacted by flooding Wakanda and killing thousands of its people. Sue Storm and Namor slept together, right?

There have been suggestions in the comics that Sue Storm, aka the Invisible Woman, and Namor once had a love relationship. The specifics of their relationship, however, have never been thoroughly investigated or verified. It’s possible that they had a one-sided platonic relationship or that they had a brief fling that was never furthered.

Mera has hydrokinesis, so why?

Mera, Aquaman’s wife, has hydrokinesis due to her Atlantean ancestry. She shares Aquaman’s abilities to communicate with sea life and has superhuman stamina and strength. She can control water and alter its characteristics, but her main talent is hydrokinesis. She is the only Atlantean with this talent; not all have it. Mera is a crucial asset to her husband and his allies because Aquaman’s foes have been defeated thanks in large part to Mera’s hydrokinesis.
